Does it really make a difference when you wash your clothes inside out?

This really isn't a helpful answer but I don't really see a difference. I try to wash them inside out but it seems like more work for me and I don't think that I have noticed them coming out any different or lasting longer.Does it really make a difference when you wash your clothes inside out?
I think it stops them fading so much. I noticed on dark socks that had always been washed right side out that the insides were much darker. I think it also reduces the bobbles you sometimes get on certain clothing. Of course if you line dry outside in the summer it prevents the sun fading them.Does it really make a difference when you wash your clothes inside out?
If the outside has delicate detailing, such as sequins, appliques, studs, or delicate fabrics, washing inside out can prevent damage by contact with other pieces of clothing. It also prevents pilling, and can protect screen prints on shirts.
yes because the outside is usually more delicate

especially if theres sequins or something like that...
