How to fix a bulb...!!??how to wash clothes...!!?

Don't think I don't know how to fix it;I know but not in English...!!!


I'm a English student, and our teacher wants us to explain how to fix a bulb in English.Plz help me and write all the steps I will find any expression I don't know in dictionary.


And something else would you PLz write for me how to wash clothes(actually by hands)! :DHow to fix a bulb...!!??how to wash clothes...!!?
I can't figure out what kind of ';bulb'; you are talking about. There are only two kinds of bulbs, a light bulb that screws into a lamp or light fixture, and a plant bulb used to grow a few certain types of plants. Neither one of them can be ';fixed'; in any way; they can only be replaced.





As for washing clothes, first you get them wet, then you rub a small area of the material with soap, then you hold the soaped part of the material in each hand so that part of the soaped area is draped between the knuckles of both hands, and then you rub your knuckles-and the material-together vigorously, over and over again. The water and soap loosens the dirt and sweat in the cloth, and the rubbing together brings both the soap and dirt up out of the fibers of the cloth-but only in the area being rubbed together. Then you rinse the material in water to wash away the loosened dirt and sweat. Then you repeat the whole process again on another small area of the material, one that is right next to the area just washed.





It's hard work, but that's the way it was done for thousands of years, until the washing machine was invented.





If you do this process in flowing water, such as a stream or river, it's a little easier. In many countries, woman soap the material, then lay it on a flat rock just above the water, then pound it all over with another rock. You don't fix light bulbs - you change them for new ones.





Turn off electricity


Remove old bulb by twisting and pulling, or by unscrewing


Install new bulb by pushing and twisting, or by screwing-in


Turn on electricity


Dispose of old bulb safely.





Washing clothes.





Immerse garment in warm or hot water with detergent


agitate and check all marks have washed out


rinse twice in warm water until clear


wring out carefully


hang up to dry





(or give the whole lot to the maid and tell her not to use the machine).
