How do you stop clothes from going bobbly after you've washed them a few times?

I mean stop all those tiny bits of fluff... that make the clothes look scruffier and older.

Does fabric conditioner help? How do you stop clothes from going bobbly after you've washed them a few times?
You can get a pair of those dryer balls to get them dried more unified.

You can use less soap (unless you have an HE washer).

You can also turn darker and denser fabrics inside out when laundering them.

You can add liquid fabric softner instead of dryer sheets; or you can wash them in delicate cycle if they are less dense fabrics. How do you stop clothes from going bobbly after you've washed them a few times?
Yes, fabric conditioner helps.

These are some things I've found:

1. Have a good washing machine (since buying my new front loader I don't seem to get the bobbly bits)

2. Good fabric conditioner

3. Make sure there are no kleenex etc. fluff in pockets

4. Remove and clean your filters on your washer and dryer after every few washes

5. If clothes already have bobblies - remove with bought remover (like a tiny shaver that slices them off) or ball of strong tape rolled over them, I've even resorted to nail scissors in desperation

6. Better quality clothing seems to not get the bobblies.

7. Oh yes, and like the other answers - wash items inside out

8. Wash towels / socks in separate loads to clothes

Good luck
try using woolite you don't to wash everything in hot water
Wash them your clothes inside out and don't wash things such as towels or denim with your items that tend to pill (that's what it's called when you get the little fuzzies).
