How do I wash wet, sandy clothes?

I was at the beach today, and my friends buried me in wet sand, and I was still wearing my denim shorts. Bad idea, I know, but now I have sandy, wet shorts on my hands. How can I wash them?





They arent muddy much, just wet 'n sandy...lol.
