I was wondering if the beer can secreet through his pores into his clothes. However, I have tried baking soda, borax. Does anyone know what would correct this problem. My husband clothing has a strange odor even after washing them. It is not ';BO';. He does drink a lot of beer.
Yes it's possible that it's beer. Try a cup of white vinegar in the final rinse.:)My husband clothing has a strange odor even after washing them. It is not ';BO';. He does drink a lot of beer.
Fabreez Laundry works great!
Well beer sweat i think by far is the worst sweat! Yeah i can play a factor...usually what I do when clothes stink like that i use extra i mean EXTRA fabric softner.....the kinds that are strong! lol
P-U
add white vinegar to the wash...probably lots!
I use Tide with Febreeze or you can buy Febreeze for laundry by itself. Works great for removing odors and they have a Bounce with Febreeze dryer sheet as well.
When I need to get a bad smell out of something, I use Febreze, it doesn't cover up the smell, it absorbs it. Good luck.
try and wash out by hand with dog soap.
I'm not sure what the odor is but I know what will get it out. I was able to remove the musty smell from washcloths and towels that were left together and weren't hung to dry properly. This is how...
1 cup white vinegar
1 scoop oxyclean
Wash on the hottest setting and then dry with a softener sheet. This should work! Good luck:)
I work as an addictions counselor and yes beer and all other forms of alcohol if you drink enough of it will secrete through your pores. I would suggest putting a cup of vinegar through the wash cycle of the washing machine. Vinegar is also good for getting rid of cigarette smells.
