I should have known better, but I put some newish jeans in with some other coloured clothes and now they've all got a blueish tint to them. Any idea on how to get it out? I've washed them again twice and it's not improved it much.Help! My clothes turned a different colour in the wash!?
You can get RIT dye remover in most grocery or department stores...they sell it with the RIT Dyes. Just follow the directions...use super hot water...and it should work even if you've dryed your clothes...it worked for me.Help! My clothes turned a different colour in the wash!?
Whoops! I am sure there is a product in the supermarkets that will remove the dye from the other clothes. Not sure what it is called though, you need to look amongst the washing powders on the shelves. Good luck! Don't worry we have all done it at least once.
Did you run them in the dryer yet? If so, sorry about your luck, they're set in. If not then maybe you have hope but I'm not sure what to do. Good Luck!
i really do not think there is anything. you can do. did you wash them in cold water? you wash darks and colors in cold water because they fade and hot water loosens the dye in clothes. maybe you can try washing the ruined clothes seperatly in hot water. anyways GL.
add vanish to your soap powder and it should put them back to normal
are you using a detergent that contains any bleach. i was using that and had the same problem. the safest way is to wash your jeans alone.
I have seen a product in Asda called colour out for problems such as yours.
Try a product called
Dylon Colour Run Remover
Good Luck
