They even make a Color Safe Bleach for Blacks to help keep them from fading. How can I wash neon colors, or black clothes, without fading them?
usually woolite in cool water.
I've had a pair of black slacks made in china and have washed them dozens and dozens of times and the black still comes out in the water. I've also washed new jeans from china by hand and I noticed that the color of the jeans drips to the bottom of the pants making the bottom darker than the top. It's a game I think and you can't really be sure you won't fade the garment until you wash it. I've heard if you wash the garment in cold water the first time then that will set the colors but I can't guarantee that. How can I wash neon colors, or black clothes, without fading them?
