How do you completely wash gasoline and the smell out of your clothes, towels, and interior of a car?

I've washed my towels and clothes 3 times and the smell is still unmistakable. Not to mention the strong smell inside the car.How do you completely wash gasoline and the smell out of your clothes, towels, and interior of a car?
Ok, first be careful drying items that have accelerant on them, could start a fire...

Try two cups of baking soda in the washing machine with load and soap... it help clean and remove smells... if two cups don't work try three (usually only take one). Do not dry the clothes before you get the smell out.

For the car, you may need to take it to a professional cleaner they have a machine that is supposed to remove smells.

Hope this helps. How do you completely wash gasoline and the smell out of your clothes, towels, and interior of a car?
They only thing I could tell you to try is a Carpet cleaner on the car And the towls you just need to toss those things that or just use them in the Garage
I would steam clean the car.. and spray with Febreez .. for the towels I would spray with Febreez and then wash them in some good laundry soap.. you could even add some baking soda. too.. and spray with febreez again...
febreze
Leave the windows down on a good sunny day. Much of the gasoline will evaporate a blow away.

As for the towels, I would add a cup of ammonia that you can get from the grocery store in addition to your detergent and wash in hot water. When the cycle is finished give them an extra rinse in HOT water. Most washers automatically use cold, so you may need to trick your washer by filling the machine as though you were beginning another cycle. Then dry on high. This should help. The ammonia should help by reacting with the oily residue from the gasoline to a more water soluble substance. Try the same for your clothes using the hottest water advisable for the fabric.
