What do i do if i dont want my clothes to shrink when i wash them?

Wash in cool water %26amp; hang to dry...What do i do if i dont want my clothes to shrink when i wash them?
Read the labels in the clothes. If they say ';dry clean only'; DON'T wash them. If it says to wash it in cold water and ';tumble'; dry, put them on a hanger to dry or lay them flat on your dryer or laundry table (counter). Anything that you put into the heat of the dryer will have a tendency to shrink especially if there is cotton involved. What do i do if i dont want my clothes to shrink when i wash them?
For pants get a set of stretchers. They are inserted into the pants while wet then hung to dry. Before preshrunk jeans that is what every one used. http://www.vermontcountrystore.com/shopp…
wash them in cold water. when you put them in the dryer, turn the temperature dial to medium if you have that option--just don;t dry them on high heat or they will shrink if they are cotton
Wash in cold water, put on delicate cycle to partially dry then hang them to finish drying.
Hang them on a clothes line the heat from the dryer is what shrinks your clothes
wash them in cold water, dry them on low heat, or hang them up to dry.
I wash all my jeans turned inside out. I've never had them shrink, ever.
