Does value village wash the clothes before selling them?

I have a friend who works there and I can say that no, they do not wash the clothes. They reccomend to the donators that you wash the clothes before dropping them off, but sometimes they dont. I reccomend just washing clothes, period, from a second-hand or vintage store before you try it on. It's the only way you'll personally know it's clean.Does value village wash the clothes before selling them?
